Today I have decided to love myself because I love what I see, I appreciate what I feel and perceive in every part of my being, because I have war marks that represent times of adversity but more than that they remind me that I can handle everything… every line about me My skin identifies me, today I see each stretch mark on my buttocks like waves of the sea that embrace me, the moles on my arms like galaxies that surround me… I no longer see defects… now I see features that fill me with identity.
There are times when I feel that I look better than others but I always love myself, I love what I see because I know what I am and what I can become.
I thank my body and my mind for everything that has helped me endure, only I know how strong I am, feeling my feet touching the ground makes me remember and recognize where I come from and where I am going, the icy water nourishes me with energy It makes me feel alive and capable, I feel on the ground, I breathe, I analyze and I am grateful for life… today I am grateful that life has allowed me to love myself.
