For a long time I denied my sensitivity. I contained that flame that I carry inside until I almost reduced it to ashes. But it was still there, resisting, resisting to disappear.
One day I couldn’t take it anymore; the fire ignited much more strongly than before. It burned my insides until it almost completely consumed me. I found myself crying in a dilapidated home. However, from the earth where my tears fell, flowers sprouted. It was there that I understood that instead of containing it (this fire), I had to embrace it, listen to it, understand it.
I am a candle, I am a phoenix, I burn intensely, today I lit myself with love and my flame will not hurt me again, today I let it be and I know that it is enough to flood it with tears to appease it a little and make a garden grow.
